We're slowly falling into a weekly rhythm, and the Sunday is one of my favorite days within that rhythm. For the past few weeks we've kept that day very mellow and free from any engagements. Instead, the three of us spend the day relaxing, usually close to home. It usually begins with a breakfast of biscuits and gravy (I do biscuits, Sean does the gravy) and then a walk somewhere close to home. Close to home now includes beautiful beaches and the Oregon Coastal Trail. The mushrooms are bountiful. It's amazing to see S wander though the forest taking in the sounds of the animals and noticing all of the different plants. Three-year-olds seem to inherently have a reverence toward nature and we are blessed to be surrounded by the epic beauty of Mama Gaia.
